A world of your own.
It is an expansive name, for something deeply personal. A desk, a study, a few treasured objects: gradually, they become a world of your own. Each thing you keep carries a memory, a choice, a part of your life.
We make the object.
Its owner continues the story.

Some stories only begin when an object becomes yours. A cigar may wait for a reunion, a memorable evening, or simply a moment when you can finally sit at ease.
We began with a question: when a collection is worth waiting years for, what should the object that lives alongside it be like? We turned to zisha clay.
In Chinese daily life, zisha has long been associated with unhurried rituals. Water is poured. Tea slowly unfolds. With repeated use, an object and its owner become familiar with each other.
Clay and wood each have their own character. Bringing them together requires care in proportion, structure and use. From forming to firing, from timber to joinery, a line on a drawing passes through many hands before it becomes an edge you can touch.
A square form asks more of the making: shaping the clay, accounting for firing shrinkage, and fitting the liner to the shell. The precision of a design must be realised in its construction.
Years from now, the box may still stand on the desk. The collection may have changed; its owner may have entered another chapter of life. Time will have given it something we cannot carve today.
The straight line in our identity expresses continuity, balance and the steadiness we seek in our work. An object worth keeping, for time worth treasuring.
